Winter Kayaking

So we went for what we thought was our final Kayak of the season. Parts of the pond were frozen.

So we ram the ice and glided on top of it.

The pond looked great as the sun started to set.

We didn’t want this trip to end so we stayed after dark.

We felt like icebreakers.

The moonlight through the ice.

We did go one more time after this night. We fought the strong current upstream but flipped a kayak trying to go under a fallen tree. After quickly paddling back to the jeep, the decision was made to hang them up for the season.
