Russia, Scandinavia, Great Britain

Another blast from the past. This was just several months after Iceland. First I spent two weeks backpacking around Great Britian. Above is Blarney Castle where I kissed the Blarney Stone and thus was blessed with the gift to gab. I also went to Dingle, Kalarney, and drove around the Ring of Kerry. Below is Stonehenge in England where I stayed all day in awe of this site.

Above is me at the Tower Bridge. Did I mention I shaved my head before this trip-just to see what it would look like. I also went to Buckingham Palace , Big Ben, the British Museum, and the Roman Tombs. Below I am at the Roman Baths in Bath, England.

Above is a photo of Edinburg Castle in Scotland. I also went to Stirling Castle and saw many shrines to William Wallace. I visited Northern Ireland and went to Wales and saw Cardiff Castle and the National Museum. Below is a photo I took of a lady in Estonia-very typical image that represented the country to me. I visited the historical museum and bought some unique antiques from someones basement.

Next I went to Norway to the Viking Museum , the Kon Tiki Museum, and the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Then to Sweeden to the Stockholm Palace and the Gustau Adolf Square. After that it was to Finland to the Luonnonntieteellinen Museum and the Temppeliankion Kirkko (rock Church). In Denmark I saw the little mermaid, windmills on land and in the water, and the NY Calsberg. I ended this trip in Russia (three photos below). The first is the Church of Spilled Blood. I also saw the Lenin museum, Peter and Paul Fortress, the Russian market, some street performers (shown below), and the most impressive museum, The Hermitage (last photo). This museum had works of art by all of the most famous artist ever.
