Male, Maldives. On ferry from airport.

This is the view from our hotel room. More than half the population live on this tiny island.

Local boats

Our two dive helpers from Bangladesh

An even smaller island we stopped at between dives

This man, Ali (also the name of every other man I met there), made me a sailboat out of part of a palm

A local fishing boat

Clown trigger, my favorite

Purple anemone

The fisherman that saved our life after floating around in the ocean for over 30 minutes.  This was the first time in 24 years of diving that when I surfaced, there was no boat.
